Buna ziua, numele meu este Mariela Popovici. Cel mai mare dar primit de la Dumnezeu este fata mea ANA. In urma unor analize medicale efectuate la Policlinica M.Ap.N. pentru admiterea la Liceul Militar nu a trecut testele medicale, in urma acestora fiind declarata “inapta”pentru cariera militara. De atunci am fost la mai multe consultati effectuate de specialisti oftamologici.

La inceput situatia nu parea grava dar in urma uni RMN (rezonanta magnetica nucleara) am primit diagnosticul de “Adenom Hipofizar cu atrofie nerv optic). Mai pe scurt dar nu mai putin tragic, este o tumoare care s-a dezvoltat in “saua turceasca” sub creier as cum se poate vedea si in pozele de la RMN. Urmatoarele efecte pe termen scurt datorita cresteri acestei tumori vor fi pierderea vederii si a altor simturi vitale care pot pune capat unei vieti la inceput de drum.

Singura solutie pentru stoparea acestor efecte este o operatie care consta in extirparea acestei tumori.

In urma ajutorului primit din partea Fundatiei Mecenat am gasit Institutul International de Neurochirurgie din Hannovra unde datorita aparaturii, tehnologiei moderne si experientei in doemniu, Profesorul Dr. Fahlbusch poate efectua aceasta operatie cu riscuri minime.

Am trimis rezultatul RMN-ului catre Institut astazi 07.04.2008. Am fost instiintati ca operatia trebuie efectuata cat mai repede cu putinta si am fost programati pe data de 17.04.2008.

Totodata am fost instiintati si de costul acestei operatii care se ridica la suma de 30.000 euro.

Din pacate aceasta suma este imensa pentru noi, ca familie. Veniturile noastre lunare se ridica la 450Euro. Prin bunavointa unor prieteni, cunostinte si rude am reusit sa strangem suma de 8000 euro pana in prezent.

Le multumesc din suflet tuturor dar suntem constienti ca nu vom putea strange toata suma in timp util fara ajutorul dumneavoastra. Facem apel la oricine ne poate ajuta cu orice suma deoarece orice minut conteaza si orice suma va aduce un strop de speranta in viata noastra si mai ales in viata Anei.

Va multumesc pentru timpul acordat citiri acestor cuvinte care vin din partea unei mame disperate!

To avoid any problems we would kindly ask you to bring proof of payment with you on the day of admission.

Please note that we have to charge you the banking fees if you pay the deposit by credit card.

If there is any remaining amount of your deposit this would, of course, be refunded to you after hospital discharge. For this purpose and further correspondence, please give us your exact mailing address and your banking details.

For Iranian Patients only:

At the present time, there are some problems, within the EU Directive 423, to refund money from the EU countries to Iran. Because of this, we kindly ask you, to send prior to admission an European bank account, to simplify the procedure.

Please note that accompanying persons can only be accommodated in the patients’ rooms, if it is medically necessary.

The costs for accompanying persons (room and board) are not covered by the deposit and must be paid by the accompanying person(s) themselves at the time of arrival.

All accommodation costs for accompanying persons must be paid for at the time of departure. Payment can be effected in cash or by credit card. In order to guarantee a smooth transaction of the payment please inform your bank in order to be able to exceed your daily credit limit.

Please let me also know which kind of room you would prefer (single-room,
2-bed room or 3-bed-room). The check out time on your discharge day is latest 10:00 a.m.

Please confirm us a date of admission as soon as possible.

Important: In case you take analgesics, do not take acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) 10 days before admission! Avoid anticoagulant medication!
